I have been an Equestrian my entire life in the discipline of Dressage competing at the International Level which has helped me understand and train my dogs. I started taking agility lessons at Canine University in 2001 and have never stopped. At present, I have three Golden Retrievers.
Skylar – 4 years old – who I acquired at 6 months of age with no training.
Her AKC titles to date:
NA, NAJ, OA, OAJ, AX, AXJ, MX, MXJ – Agility
CD, CDX – Obedience
Skylar was in the ribbons for every title in Agility and Obedience except her MX and MXJ. In the year 2002, she was listed in the top ten for her breed in Agility.
Lakesyde’s Phantom Menace (Jacob) – who I acquired at the age of two and is
now 4 years of age.
Jacob did Conformation his first two years.
His AKC titles to date:
NA, NAJ, OA, OAJ, AX – Agility
CD – Obedience
Strike Up the Band (Piccolo) – My first Golden puppy who I hope to compete in
Agility, Obedience, Field and possibly Tracking starting next year.
