Anne Ujczo and her blue merle Sheltie Phanntom on their MACH 5. Anne and Phantom are just racking up those MACH's. Anne started in agility with her two shelties (her other sheltie is MACH 4 Jordan) several years ago never having done any dog performance events before. Her first class with me was just basic obedience for the pet owner. But she did not stop there. She took to agility like it had always been part of her life and now BOTH her shelties are in the AKC Top Ten Agility dogs of all Breeds for 2005. Way to go Anne!!!

A huge hurrah!! for Karen Majka and her Cairn Terrier Mac ---they achieved their MACH 2 needing only 3 points going into the run. On Friday Mac decided to prolong the suspense and enter the weaves at pole 2. On Saturday he finished in style by far exceeding the 3 he needed and getting 13 points instead. And of course on Sunday he started afresh with another DQ! When Mac started in class as a young dog the thing I most remember about him was that he skipped as many jumps as he jumped. Now he is a steady, happy performer that has some of the tightest turns around.

And a big WOW! WOW!! and another WOW!!! to Pat Mullen and her Dalmation Fame as they too became MACH. Fame is the fastest and most driven Dalmation I have ever seen run. She loves agility and works for "bread" (of all things!!) Pat has worked hard and long to handle Fame from a distance and keep up with her. If you have ever seen Fame weave you have to laugh as she growls her way through the weaves. Fame also has her UDX but I think agility definitely has her heart. Way to go Pat!
